Written as a sequel to our hugely popular In The Winter, this arrangement recaptures the wonder and energy of the winter spirit.  The Next Winter combines 3 very famous pieces associated with winter, with little hints of “Carol of the Bells” woven throughout.  The show begins with a calm and majestic arrangement of “Angels In Our Countryside”, more commonly known as the music for “Angels We Have Heard on High.”  The second part utilizes the fun and lively “Trepak” from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite.”  The third part is based on the Vivaldi’s highly rhythmic “L’Inverno” (Winter) from “The Four Seasons.”  Thematic elements from throughout the show come together in an exhilarating conclusion.
