No Stix is a trio written for hand drums in the style of John Bergamo’s Piru Bole, allowing the performers to pick which hand drum(s) they would like to play.  Many aspects of the piece, such as tempo and dynamics, are left up to the performer, allowing for a customized performance from each trio.  No Stix can also be played by any size ensemble, so long as each part has an equal number of players.
