An Odyssey is defined as a long and eventful or adventurous journey or experience. The ultimate odyssey is the journey of life, from youth, to adolescence, and into adulthood. Many different stages of life are represented musically and follow the arc of growth and maturity. The show concludes with a fade-out ending (after a final big arrival) using material from the opening of the show that represents the return to the beginning as life comes full circle.
